We’re building a digital home for pickleball enthusiasts like you. We have profiled a range of options to learn pickleball and we are adding more lessons every day, as well as pickleball equipment reviews detailed ‘how-to’ guides, and fascinating facts about our favorite pastime. We’re also building a range of new features to get you out on the court.
Our Story
The pickleball Lessons co-funder Nasir was on the hunt for some general pickleball queries but didn’t like the information that was available. There were so many websites that all seemed to have the same information. There was an obvious need for more transparency and helpful content. So, he talked with an expert and pickleball instructor Zara (who is a wonderful writer as well), and started a website named thepickleballlessons.com in 2023.
At our heart, we are just pickleball lovers who love the sport and want to help others find joy in the game like we have. So far, we never would have guessed the positive response we get from the pickleball community. Now we also give pickleball equipment reviews alongside your general sports-related queries.
We Are Not Your Typical Pickleball Equipment Reviewer
We believe there isn’t only one type of pickleball equipment that is right for everyone, but there is one right for you if you know from experts. Our mission is to help you find that best you looking for. We do this by adding transparency to our articles through honest reviews, offering buying guidance, and selling fewer brands on purpose.
We do honest, in-depth reviews for two reasons:
- We are not a seller
- We review Fewer brands on purpose
We play and review everything we recommend so we can be descriptive in our overviews and provide informative details on how each product actually plays and not just how brands market their paddles.
Our Team
We are a fantastic team of people who provide our users with quality pickleball lessons, and outstanding guides. Nasir partnered with his brilliant team, to help manage core business operations while Zara leads the reviewing and content side of things.
